Job Summary
As a Sales Representative, you will prospect, qualify, and close new business for [agency services]. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to needs discovery, proposal presentation, negotiation, and onboarding coordination—while maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up
- Conduct discovery calls/meetings to understand client needs, goals, and decision criteria
- Present tailored solutions and proposals that align with client objectives
- Manage the sales pipeline in [CRM] and keep activity and status updated
- Qualify leads using agreed criteria and ensure proper routing/escalation when needed
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, marketing, customer success) to ensure smooth handoffs
- Present pricing while also educating and showing value
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness with prospects and clients
- Participate in sales training, coaching, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 0-1+ years of sales experience (agency, SaaS, staffing, advertising, or professional services preferred)
- Proven ability to prospect and close deals (experience with full-cycle sales is a plus)
- Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting and negotiating with decision-makers
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline
- Proficient with CRM systems and sales tools (HubSpot/Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to handle rejection and persist through a structured sales process
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience selling Property, casualty and life insurance.
- Familiarity with consultative selling and/or value-based selling
Performance Expectations / Success Metrics
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for:
- Qualified leads and/or meetings booked
- Proposal/submission targets
- Closed-won revenue
- Maintain pipeline health (e.g., minimum coverage ratio)
- Maintain CRM accuracy and forecasting reliability
- Achieve a consistent follow-up cadence
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
