Outside Sales Representative
Insurance & Financial Services — Kelly Ruby State Farm, Eureka, MO
Role Description
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth by building strong relationships in the Eureka community, meeting with prospects outside the office, and promoting State Farm insurance and financial service products. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, outgoing professional who enjoys networking, visiting local businesses, attending community events, and helping individuals protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate new leads through community outreach, networking, and visiting local businesses
• Conduct in-person appointments with prospects and clients to discuss insurance and financial service needs
• Present and recommend State Farm products including auto, home, life, health, and financial services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners and local organizations
• Follow up on leads, manage a personal sales pipeline, and meet monthly production goals
• Complete needs-based reviews to ensure comprehensive coverage for households
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless customer onboarding
• Represent Kelly Ruby State Farm at community events, sponsorships, and business gatherings
• Maintain compliance with State Farm and Missouri Department of Insurance guidelines
Qualifications
• Prior sales experience preferred (outside sales or field sales a plus)
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable meeting new people and engaging in community events
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily travel
• Ability to obtain Missouri Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (or already licensed)
• Professional, positive, and goal-driven mindset
• Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain consistent follow-up
• Basic computer/CRM proficiency

Compensation: $78,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
